3rd Annual Conference

The 3rd Annual Conference of the Somali Institute of Certified Public Accountants (SICPA), scheduled for 28–29 October 2026 in Mogadishu, will bring together professional accountants, auditors, finance leaders, government institutions, private-sector representatives, academia, development partners, and regional and international professional accountancy organizations. The conference will provide a high-level platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration on key developments shaping Somalia’s accountancy profession, including professional regulation, financial reporting and auditing standards, accounting education and skills development, public financial management, ethics, digital transformation, and emerging global trends. As SICPA’s first annual conference following its statutory establishment in 2026, the event will also highlight the Institute’s strengthened mandate and its role in building a credible, competent, and internationally aligned accountancy profession that contributes to transparency, accountability, and Somalia’s economic development.
