This application is expected to take at least 15 minutes and at most 30 minutes.

1. Requirements for Studentship Application (Somalia)

Before you proceed to fill in the application form, make sure you have the following:

• A scanned copy of your original identification document
  (Somali National ID or Passport biodata/details page).
• A soft copy of a coloured passport-size photograph with a white background in any of the following formats:
  png | jpg | jpeg | tiff | bmp.
• A scanned copy of your original residence/work/student/refugee/dependant permit or card is compulsory for non-Somali applicants.
• Scanned copies of your original academic transcripts or pass slips.
• Scanned academic documents MUST show all faces/pages of the original documents, including front and back pages where applicable.
• Academic documents MUST be in PDF format.
• Files uploaded MUST NOT exceed 8 MB.
• The names entered in the application must exactly match the names appearing on all supporting documents.
  Any name change MUST be supported by a legal document (e.g. marriage certificate, affidavit, or deed poll).

Referee Declaration

The declaration by the referee must be made by one of the following:

• Your employer
• A training or academic institution
• A member of a reputable profession
• A person in a recognized position of responsibility

NOTE:

The referee must NOT be a close relative.

• All fields marked with (*) are mandatory and must be properly completed for the application to proceed.
• The professional accountancy body in Somalia reserves the right not to register and/or to de-register any individual who, in its opinion, is not a fit and proper person for the accountancy profession.

2. Make Payment After Completing Your Online Application

After completing the online application, use your application number to make payment using any of the following methods:

• Bank payment
• Mobile money payment

(Details to be provided by the relevant Somali professional body or institution.)

3. Confirmation of Your Application

After making payment, present the following documents at the designated offices in Somalia:

• A printout of the duly completed and signed online application form, signed by the referee.
• Proof of payment of the enrollment/registration fees.
• Original or certified copies of academic supporting documents, including:
  • Secondary school certificates
  • Diplomas
  • Degrees
  • Professional course certificates (if any)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Two (2) coloured passport-size photographs with a white background.
  Express photos are not acceptable.
